“For the Joy of the Lord is your strength.” Jeremiah 8:10 KJV
Inspiration cont-
the holy silence of that sacred land.
As we traveled from site to site, I kept my camera and notepad close, determined to capture every moment of what felt like a “walk through the Bible.” I stood on the Temple Mount, where the first and second temples once rose in splendor. I prayed at the Western Wall, the only remnant of the second temple. I traced the winding path of the Jericho Road, remembering the Good Samaritan’s compassion. I stood on the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus taught us how to live blessed lives. I stepped into the shadows near Lazarus’ Tomb, where resurrection power once
called forth a friend.
I saw so much—more than I could ever fully describe. But the empty tomb eclipsed them all. Standing before that sacred, hollow space reminded me that every promise of God is yes and amen in Christ Jesus. The tomb was empty, yet my heart overflowed. In that moment, I felt the reality of the resurrection anew.
I knew I would one day share these experiences—not as a travel guide, but as a testimony of God’s faithfulness, presence, and power.
That day has come. I am happy to announce the official release date of Inspiration from the Holy Land.: January 29, 2026. I invite you to walk this journey with me—one story, one memory, one revelation at a time. My prayer is that these reflections will strengthen your faith, brighten your hope, and encourage you to trust the Lord more deeply in your daily walk.
Thank you for being part of this season of joy and new beginnings with me.
With gratitude and abiding joy,
Gladys Simmons Carson
